Ahhh, finally! ;-)

I'm back! It's been awhile, I know, but here I go again!

There has been so much going on lately. Much of it family stuff.... Yucky stuff. But there have been good things, too! I don't know how else to keep you up on it all except put it in list form! ;-) So here goes:

 SweetKiss Momma, Jeremy's band, has still been rocking socks off. Go ahead and visit their myspace page and check out a few of their songs and pics! (I am special enough to be in a few)

A few pics....

 I finished Summer quarter at Pierce College, somehow still maintaining a 3.96 GPA. That 4.0 in Chemistry realllly helped! :-) I'm starting back up Fall quarter beginning September 24th and I'm so excited! I finally get to dive into the gritty stuff... A&P!! Yay! The nuts and bolts of Nursing Prereqs. Let's just hope I have as much luck there as I have with all my other classes! I'll keep you posted how it's going.... Jeremy will also go full time to the same school. He'll do evening classes after I get home from a full day of classes! Exciting times.

 Dylan and Jaden started school last week!! Dylan is in 2nd grade already and Jaden is a big Kindergartener!! They love their teachers and friends, and I love the extra room in the house during the day! hehe Momma's very proud of her big boys. ♥

 I'm still hooked on my ipod. Music is just the best thing ever. It can take you to new places
and make you feel what words cannot do. I should post some sort of "What I'm playing on my
ipod lately" type deal, but I have thousands of songs... Kinda hard to just pick a few.

 I'm also still addicted to my blackberry. A slight change, however... My old bberry was stolen awhile
back, so I upgraded to the newer, smaller, BETTER Blackberry Curve.

I love it even more than my old one! I never thought it could be possible! ;-) If you're still in the dark,
get one!!! They really don't call it a "Crackberry" for no reason!

Hmm, I'm sure there's more. I just can't think of it or don't want to share it! Haha.
Hopefully I'll be back on here a lot more in the near future so as not to upset you all!

Okay, okay, okay!!! Sorry folks! Geez! I've almost been broken up with over not posting in so long! ;) (love ya Sharon!!) So I've been more busy than ever lately, so here's a little recap:

Wednesday.... again?!

Wow, a week has gone by pretty quickly! I guess I'll have to do Web Wednesday later today. I've been pretty busy keeping up with the kardashians (uh, I mean kids) trying to keep my floors somewhat clean.

Here's the scenario:
Mom walks into kitchen and notices baby somehow has open yogurt container. Baby is tipping said container up like a cup trying to eat/drink yogurt. Mom lets out a "Nooooo!!!", baby scares and spills yogurt all over floor. DANGER!!! Baby is eying yogurt.... (must look like fantastic finger paint!) Mom quickly looks around while guarding yogurt spill so no clean hands can disburse the mess further... No towels.... No paper towels.... No napkins!!! Wait, there's a pair of shorts on the floor! Grab that! Wipe up spill and further drama is quelled. :)

Don't you love when something spills on the floor and you just happen to have a pair of shorts left there by a lazy kid that you can use to wipe it up with??! It makes me feel like it was there dirtying up my floor for a reason... ;) At least that's what I tell myself.

Web Wednesday.... on Thursday!

A little late, but who cares? ;) It's Web Wednesday!! I apologize for the lack of posts lately. Just wanted to keep you waiting... =D One of my new favorite sites is PostSecret. It's pretty addicting.... I feel like I'm stalking people, but hey, they put it out there!!

Hmm, let's see... I also love going over to Across-the-Board to see what Ramsey has been up to posting. He's so friggin' funny. His personality reminds me of me... Crap, another one in this world... :-0

Seriously?? I may have to look around for another online dictionary that I can call home. I don't think old man Merriam (or Webster) would appreciate such an uncool word in their catalog of the English language. Blah.

♽ Happy Earth Day ♽

For all you treehuggers out there, today is your day!! ;) Actually technically it's the Earth's day, but it doesn't know the difference, so I'll give it to you greenies. ☮ Let's all go plant a tree!

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge supporter of all things green and environmentally friendly, but I think lately it's more of a fad and the cool thing to do. It's kinda sad, really. I guess if your need to "be doing the coolest thing" is what gets you to go more "green", then that can only help. My issue is that in a year when everyone moves on to something else, what good will it have done? Really? If you have a strong opinion otherwise, feel free to share. I'd love to hear it.

P.S.- I used to own a green cleaning business, so I know quite a bit about this subject. Soon I'll post a "My favorite green cleaners" post. ;) Look forward to it!

In other not-so-good-news, I had to put my cat down yesterday. :(

VERY sad.

Her name was Naya and she was such a good kitty. Only 8 mos. old, but had Feline Infectious Peritonitis. She was pretty much doomed from the start. Here's a quick pic:


That's me loving on her. ;) She looks a little scared. He he. The vet said to wait at least 6-8 weeks before getting another cat to make sure all of the FIP virus is out of the house. And don't worry folks, it's not catchable by humans.

Trying the Haiku

I'm pretty sure the English version of the Haiku is 5-7-5 syllable form, so we'll go with that. Here we go:

once the sun was here
it has now gone behind clouds

✯ My kiddos are driving me crazy ✯

On Saturday it was 82∘outside. Sooo nice.
(Don't mind the Urology sign...) ➠
We went to the Daffodil Parade and had a great time forgetting sunscreen. Oops, I got a little red. Anyway, the kids played and ran and played some more. And with all that energy release + the sun, they slept GREAT.

Then came the next day. It has been cold and rainy again. My kids are confused. Their bodies are in Spring mode, but their shoes are in mud mode. So of course they have to stay inside and they're acting like I'm keeping them from seeing Hannah freakin' Montana right outside or something. I'm just about to send them out and tell them to go mud wrestle and come in at dark. ;)

Any ideas for what to do on rainy/cold Spring days??...

I know I haven't posted in awhile, but.....

I'm sitting here in my usual coffee shop studying Biology (gag-- okay, I actually secretly love it.) and across from me are 4 high school girls studying for one of their tests and they ALL HAVE MACBOOKS. All of them. If I could do it inconspicuously, I'd take a picture with my Macbook and show y'all! Yeah, my Macbook that took until I was 24 to get. And they're about 16. Wow. And just to show me up a little more... They all have nicer & newer cars than I do!!! SERIOUSLY?!!? Who are their parents???

I just want to say that I never had crap like that when I was in High School. I'm not bitter though... ;)
