$3.69 for gas??!!

Okay, I'm reeeealllly chafed with the whole gas thing. In Spanaway (about 10 blocks down the road from my house) there is a gas station selling REGULAR gas for $3.69!! Seriously? How do these grease-balls get away with this??

I am trying to decide which to donate to the black market: a kidney or an ovary. Which will get me more?? I'm thinking use the cash for a gift card for AMPM.... ;)

My new buddy... Gas Buddy! It tells you the cheapest prices right around you! L-O-V-E it.

Hmmm, what else is new lately?.... Lots of studying as of late. Tests, papers, tests, quizzes, extra credit, etc... But I still love college! I feel like a "human" instead of a "mom" if you know what I mean. Parts of my mind are being dusted off and sprayed with large amounts of WD-40 and it feels great! (Tin Man... I feel ya!) I'm a little stressed out with registration, but I'll get around to it sometime. Maybe. Hopefully.

Here's to the night!! Have a good one!

[little birdie feathers]

My 4 year old, Jaden, comes running up to me today saying, "Mommy! Mommy! Kellen took a bunch of little birdie feathers off little birdies and put them on the deck!"

Slightly perplexed/curious I rush to see what is going on and what my 3 year old is up to. I find this:

It was infant cereal flakes.

Comedy. :-)

{tooth pain = pain meds}

Pain. Times 10.

I'm talking about that throbbing, pounding, piercing pain you get when the nerve under a tooth becomes exposed. That is the misery I'm faced with right now.

Sooo... I'm writing to you all while on Darvocet and Aleve. I'm a little scatterbrained, so forgive me for that! ;) Hopefully I can get some sort of emergency/feel-bad-for-me-for-not-getting-care-sooner appointment tomorrow. With a little luck. Hopefully I'm the only one in a 20 mile radius that needs an appointment tomorrow. ;)

Funny story of the day:

Dylan, my 6 year old says, "When I grow up I want to be a Doctor so I can make a lot of money and help people." To which my 4 year old, Jaden replies, "Well Mommy, when I grow up I want to be a Crossing Guard!"

:) He's so cute.

Happy [medicated] day!!

Kids and OnDemand

I have a six year old who knows how to navigate all aspects of our cable box with the remote. OnDemand is no strange land to him. He knows his way to the kids movies and the kids music videos. Seriously.

**edit- I also have 3 y/o twins and a 4 y/o who navigate the internet as well. Crazy. **

Am I weird that I think that is like some strange sign 'o the times or something?? I know we didn't have cable boxes when I was his age, but I also think if we did, I wouldn't have figured it out.

This is the current favorite to dance to lately:

Funny, right?

He also navigates his way around the web. (only allowed on safe sites, of course!) Techie geniuses the kids are these days.

I'd love to hear your stories of kids and tv/internet! ;)

Until next time....
